Trio Mitteleuropeo caratterizzato da una spiccata intesa musicale e dalla condivisione di un’estetica che, sulla base di un repertorio interamente originale, va alla ricerca di sonorità proprie, fondendo il jazz con altri linguaggi musicali quali il pop e il rock , in una miscela in cui la melodia risulta sempre la chiave di lettura vincente.
Questo trio ha all’attivo una ventina di concerti, e la registrazione del CD “My Dear Friend”, pubblicato nel 2012.

It is a pleasure for me listening to the music from the CD‚ Pintar – Zullian – Kugler‘.  
The tunes (all originals by the members of the trio) are inspired on different atmospheres and musical landscapes.  Lyricism, beauty and honesty of expression are present throughout the recording. The compositions are well-chosen sketches of different moods, grooves and colours.  The interpretation sounds well-balanced and unpretensious, with a good sense for the form and musical bow. The interplay within the trio creates a nice flow, leaving space for the soloists to express musical thoughts. The interpretaion of melodies by the piano and bass are very clear and to the point, with a beautiful use of dynamics. The recording of these 10 originals by the trio Pintar – Zullian – Kugler  is all in all a beautiful, sincere and expressive performance, which is, in my opinion a joy to listen to!
